diving and Water Rescue Training Organization.

There have been an alarming amount of injuries and fatalities
over the last 20 years with Public Safety Divers.  Most of these
incidents have occurred during training  exercises to divers
that have had no formal public safety training from a certified
public safety training agency.  Many divers hold only recreational
certifications.  Recreational certifications are based entirely on
skills and standards setforth for safe sport diving.  Even the highest
levels of recreational certification serve only as a prerequisite for
the Entry Level Public Safety Diver.  Make no mistake..providing
an underwater recovery service without proper dive team training
can be a dangerous,high risk business.
